Use Your Facebook Page to Gain More Clients

With everyone having an account on Facebook – yes, even my mom told me to get her one – travel professionals now have an easier way of expanding their market reach.  Rezopia acknowledges that our clients are consistently looking for ways to increase their revenues without out of control expenses; this is where social media definitely comes in handy.  Most businesses already have a Facebook Page established.  If you have not created one, it’s time to set it up.

Want ideas on how to use your Facebook Page to gain new clients?  Here are my top five.

Non fans vs Fans – add the iframe tab application then create two separate contents, for non-fans and fans.  Non fans would just see generic information.  Obviously, you want people to like your page and become fans so they get access to your specials and exciting deals.  YouTube offers great tutorials on how to setup these tabs.  Search for “facebook non fans tab”.

I Like, You Like! – find your suppliers and other business partners, and like their page.  Also try and comment on thFacebook for Travel Agencies, Tour Operatorseir posts once in a while. They would most likely return the favor.  This is great to show your fans that you are actively involved in the community.

Make Your Wall Move – be sure to post the latest updates on your wall also (promos, etc).  These announcements become part of your fans’ news feeds where they can make comments, like your post and even tag their friends to share your link or message.

If you are a Rezopia client, you already have the Facebook sharing button and tell a friend widget on each package page.  Once a user clicks on the Facebook icon and logs in, your package details are posted on the user’s wall for their entire friends list to see.

What Happened in Vegas Gets Posted on Facebook – okay, maybe not Vegas, but the point is you want your fans to share their awesome experience after booking their trips with you!  Once in a while, hold a “funniest” or “best” review on your page to engage your fans.  You can give them a free night at the hotel or free transfer on their next travel purchase.

They’re Only Humans – remember that you are there to socialize.  It’s not bad to insert some fun and humor as long as you don’t go overboard.  Gone are the times when everything was so formal – that’s called boring these days.
